Cowboy boots date back to the period following the Texas revolution and civil war. There are no vintage specimins available from this period, but there are written accounts of them. The primary sources of Texas Cowboy Boots were made in Coffeyville, Kansas, and in Texas just south of the Red River near Nocona.
Tony Lama, another sought-after collectors' boot, started producing around the turn of the century right up until 1990, when Justin acquired them.
